The Iranian Association of Chemical Engineering (IAChe) was established in 1992 by a group of professors, students, experts, and enthusiasts of chemical engineering in order to achieve the following goals. Chemical engineering is the application of physical science principles along with economic fundamentals and human relations in fields directly related to processes and equipment where materials are subjected to operations to change their state, composition, or energy level. In this regard, the Iranian Association of Chemical Engineering started its activities in 1992 with the permission of the Commission of Scientific Associations of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
